Which method of window cleaning is right for my windows?
There are two predominant methods of window cleaning; traditional (using an applicator and squeegee) and the latest high tech equipment, the water fed pole system. Our water fed poles and brushes are designed to be used on all types of glass and are soft enough to be used on old glass as well as new. A benefit of the pole system is that we are able to clean your windows without the use of ladders, this minimises health and safety risks and the purified water ensures a streak free finish. Our expert team will assess your windows and requirements and provide a recommendation of the best method to be used. We are happy to quote for either option depending on your personal preferences and we’ll always use the right method for your windows.
How often should I have my windows cleaned?
This depends on your individual requirements. We’re always happy to offer advice on the frequency of the clean for your property or business. We take into account your location, window type, budget and requirements. Our residential customers vary from a monthly to quarterly cleans, whereas business requirements vary from daily to annual cleans depending on the type of business. Contact us to find out more.
How much will my window cleaning cost?
To ensure every customer receives value for money we provide an individual quotation for every property. As each building is different with varying window sizes and hard to reach areas, we price each job by carrying out a visit to a potential customer’s home or business, or by viewing images sent by the customer. This allows us to assess access to the property, the size and type of the windows and discuss any specific requirements, such as conservatory or VELUX window cleans. The quotation is tailored to your property meaning you’ll pay a fair and accurate price for your window cleaning.
Can you clean the insides of my windows?
Definitely. As well as the water fed pole system that we mainly use to clean the exterior glass, all of our team are experienced in traditional window cleaning methods used for internal glass. We use either shoe covers or remove our shoes inside your home.
Do you clean windows on commercial and industrial buildings?
We regularly clean windows on commercial premises across London. As well as window cleaning we also provide other commercial exterior cleaning services including signage, gutter cleaning, cladding cleaning and solar panel cleaning. Whether it’s a one-off or regularly scheduled clean, we have the exterior cleaning solution to suit your business needs.
I have a 3 / 4 storey property – can you still clean my windows?
Our water fed poles can clean up to 65ft / 20 metres from the ground and can easily reach 5 storey windows.
Do you clean conservatories?
Yes, but not just conservatories windows, also conservatory roofs.
Do I need to be at home when you clean the windows?
We can clean all external windows without you being home – as long as prior arrangement has been made for access. For internal cleans we will need access, but we can book in a specified time and date so there’s no need to wait in all day.
It’s raining; will you still clean my windows?
Our water fed pole system of window cleaning means we can clean windows in almost any weather. Even in the rain the reach and wash system leaves a great finish. But if you are not happy with the results (up to 48hrs later), We’ll come back under the satisfaction guarantee. There are however a few occasions when we can’t clean due to health and safety reasons. For example, high winds would mean any high-level window cleaning (above 3 storeys) could be unsafe. Icy conditions and lightning are also hazardous. Luckily the UK weather means these situations are rare. In most cases we will simply wait for the inclement conditions to pass and carry on. If for any reason your clean needs to be rescheduled we will contact you to rebook a suitable time.
Can I book my window clean for a specific time?
Of course! We understand how frustrating it can be to wait at home not knowing when to expect a window cleaner or delivery for example. Just let us know if you’d like a time when you arrange your window clean. We will usually give you a time frame. For example between 2-3pm. This accounts for our teams being caught in traffic or perhaps held up on another job. In the unlikely event that they are delayed further we will call to let you know.
Will I need to supply any water for the window cleaning?
No, our vans are self-sufficient and carry all the water we need for the day.
My windows have been left wet – is this right?
The water we use is purified so any drops left on the windows will dry without leaving a residue.
I’m reaching the end of my tenancy, can you do a one-off clean?
We’re always happy to book in cleans of any frequency, whether that’s a one-off clean or a regular booking.
I need to pay my window cleaning invoice, how can I pay?
Our bank details will be on the invoice we send so payments can be made by BACS, online banking, by cash, or by Card (this may be subject to a 3% charge).
Do you cover my area?
We are based in North London, but we have some customers further afield, so please call to check if we cover your area.
